Windows Update

Windows 95, is no longer supported by Microsoft.

For all other operating systems, to do a Windows Update:
On the menu bar click on Tools -> Windows Update.  When the windows update page is loaded, click on Scan for Updates.

You don't always download every update, but the updates that Windows says are 'Critical' should always be downloaded & installed.  Folks who neglect this are leaving their computers vulnerable for hackers and other attacks.

If you use Microsoft Office you should use the newer Microsoft Update. This will update Windows, all of your Microsoft Office products and your hardware. You can get Microsoft Update here.
